- F7A 大黄蜂 Mk II: The F7A Hornet Mk II is the latest Military version of the Hornet. It is used by the elite pilots of 地球联合帝国海军.[2]
- F7A-R 大黄蜂 追踪者: The F7A-R Hornet Tracker is the military version of the Hornet tracker.[3]
- F7C-R 大黄蜂 追踪者: The F7C-R Hornet Tracker is the scout version of the Hornet. It features a radar instead of a turret.[5]
- F7C-S 大黄蜂 幽灵: The F7C-S Hornet Ghost is the stealth version of the Hornet. It has reduced emissions and Void armor to evade scanners.[6]
- F7C-M 超级大黄蜂: The F7C-M Super Hornet has the closest possible loadout to F7A Hornet. It features an extra passenger seat and an advanced weapon loadout.[7]
Special editions
- F7C 大黄蜂: Created as part of the Masters of Flight series in conjunction with the flight-sim 竞技场指挥官, the Wildfire pays tribute to famed pilot Aria Reilly for her distinguished service with the legendary 42中队. This Hornet comes equipped with her own personally selected loadout preferences and a custom special edition livery honoring her iconic ship[8]
History
The first F7A Hornet came out in 2806 and replaced the Aegis Avenger as the standard medium fighter for the 地球联合帝国.
Trivia
- The F7A Hornet was originally featured in the Star Citizen Kickstarter trailer.[9]
- At first the Hornet was to be a light fighter, but then after designs came back with it being heavily armed and beefy.[10]
- The original F7A Hornet paid homage to the Hornet from
Wing Commander which was a light fighter the player started out in.[10]
