功能

充裕的货物空间

历史

游牧者的开发始于2942年，比野马系列的发布时间早了整整两年。最初的名字是MANTA（多人组队新型运输船），由夏洛特·罗兰博士领导开发团队。游牧者最初的设想是作为对罗伯茨太空工业的星座系列飞船的竞争对手。该船原本旨在成为联合外域公司的子公司的第一步，专注于出租飞船。[3]

到了2944年，MANTA计划成为一艘大型多人组队飞船，采用现成组件进行建造，只需要对其小型中央舱进行施工。此外，以750,000UEC的价格，科尔纳实现了采用低成本竞争对手的愿景。其中一个显著的成本节约措施是开放式货舱，而不是更昂贵的封闭货舱。然而，就在野马系列发布后不久，克尔纳（联合外域ceo)开始更多地参与开发过程。他实行的第一个改变是船的名称，“游牧者”（Nomad）让这艘船听起来更像是一艘能自给自足的独立飞船[3]
