The Green zone refers to a zone inside of a star system inside which a planetary surface can support liquid water. After discovery of a system, planets inside this zone are often considered by the 地球联合帝国 to be candidates for Terraforming. On the ARK Starmap, green zones inside a system are displayed with a slight green haze.
