The 16-SCU container is a standardized[2] cargo container with a measure of 2.5 x 2.5 x 5 m[1] and an internal volume of 16 标准货物单位 (2x2x4 1-SCU crates). These containers are a means to bundle cargo and goods into larger, unitized loads, that can be easily handled, moved, and stacked, and that will pack tightly in a ship or yard.
