Zane Bien is the Global UI Creative Director at Cloud Imperium Games UK.[1] He was previously the company's first User Interface Designer and one of the first employees in 2013. As the UI team continues to grow, he was promoted to different positions in the team. Some time during his employment, he was relocated from CIG Austin to CIG Manchester.[1][2]

- His background was mainly in design and web development, in which they are both self-taught.[2]
- He was hired by CIG not long after he graduated from university in 2013. Prior to that, he had never worked in the video game industry.[2]
- He was originally from Hawaii, then he moved to Austin to work in CIG Austin, later he relocated to Manchester, UK to work in CIG Manchester.[1][2]
