First Contact is the event when the 人类 race first encountered an alien civilization.

History

On June 12th, 2438, explorer Vernon Tar was surveying the Davien System. He encountered a fugitive 巴努 ship. At first, he believe it was another surveyor traversing the system. Upon realizing his mistake, he sent his coordinates to the 地球联合国 (UNE). In response, a diplomatic team lead by General Neal Socolovich arrived to lead the situation. The 巴努保护国 made formal contact two weeks later. The Interstellar Peace and Trade Accord was signed between the two races in October 2438.

Holiday

First Contact Day is a holiday in the 地球联合帝国 (UEE) held annually on June 6th, to commemorate the Human race first contact with an alien civilization.
