Standard Earth Year (SEY): 2542 is best known for significant military events on two fronts of 人類 space:
- Xi'an-Human Cold War - The discovery of the 利拉星系 and subsequent inception of the 佩里防線, with Odara renamed to Gurzil and Nivelin renamed to Hadrian.
- 第一次塔維因戰爭 - The 塔維因 invade and capture Idris IV via an as-yet undiscovered 跳躍點 from their home system. A civilian resistance group known as The Greys grows to prominence.
