A Starman is an enlisted member of the 地球联合帝国海军 and its preceding organisations. The term has also been used in reference to pre-unification crew of military spaceships, implying that it may predate the formation of the 地球联合国.[1]

A senior enlisted member may be granted the rank of Leading Starman.
